2.5 Million Users Will Soon Be Able To Get Elrond Wallets And Transfer EGLD And ESDT Tokens To Their Telegram Contacts Via The iMe App Integration
We have started a collaboration with the popular iMe Telegram-based messenger app to integrate the Elrond Network in their non-custodial wallet solution and thus enabling EGLD and ESDT token transfers between Telegram contacts.
The iMe Messenger and Crypto Wallet app connects to the popular Telegram communications infrastructure, which connects over half a billion people. The iMe app already has more than 2.5 million users and is rapidly growing thanks to the valuable features it adds on top of the out-of-the-box Telegram experience.
The iMe platform includes a safe Telegram-based messaging ecosystem, neurobots in chats, built-in Google translator, functional Cloud, transcribing voice messages to text, and many others.
The feature that stands out the most, especially in the crypto community, is the ability to create a non-custodial wallet and integrate it with the iMe messenger. This allows users to store and send tokens to their Telegram contacts with ease.
We are working together to integrate the Elrond mainnet into the iMe app so that every iMe user that sets up the crypto component automatically gets an Elrond wallet as well, enabling them to store, send and receive EGLD and ESDT tokens.
