Introducing X Day Community Awards

The growth of our ecosystem has been marked by significant milestones that either came from new network capabilities, such as Smart Contracts, ESDTs and NFTs, or products that expanded the access to them, such as Maiar App and Maiar Exchange.

These were definitely turning points that unlocked new paths and brought us exponential growth periods by allowing users and builders to leverage our blockchain architecture at its true power.

X Day will again be such a moment. The celebration of relentless, intense effort, applied consistently over a long timeframe.

To showcase the magnitude of excitement, innovation and creative energy brewing in the ecosystem, we have partnered with EGLD Community to spotlight some of the most valuable projects building on the Elrond blockchain.

The Community Awards ceremony, which will take place on the third day of the X Day Paris conference, will be split into 8 categories:

1. Most Entertaining Project - This award recognizes the most fun and engaging project within the Elrond ecosystem
2. Best Designed Project - This award recognizes the project with the best design, user experience, and overall aesthetics
3. Best Social Impact Project - This award recognizes the project with the most impactful social footprint
4. Best Tech Project - This award recognizes the project with the best technical features and advancements
5. Best NFT Project - This award recognizes the most successful NFT project of the year
6. Most Creative Project - This award recognizes the project with the most unique, creative, and original concepts and ideas
7. Most Community-Centric Project - This award recognizes the project with the strongest community focus
8. Best Real-World Applicable Project - This award recognizes the project with the strongest real-world - applicable use cases

Starting now and until Friday, November 4th, at 14:00 UTC, you can cast a vote for any or all awards listed above. To do so, here’s a quick summary of the steps you need to follow:

1. Register for an account on EGLD Community: https://egld.community/signup/
2. Confirm the email address that you have registered with
3. Navigate to Settings by clicking on your avatar in the top right hand corner of the page
4. Select the Connect to Elrond button and link your Elrond wallet
5. Your account is now enabled to vote for your favorite project
6. Go to https://egld.community/awards
